With plural nouns, we always use mes to translate my. Mes jouets, mes enfants, mes fils, mes filles. In English, you say I miss you but in French we say : Tu me manques. The construction is different : - In French, the person missed is the subject of the sentence - In English, the person missed is the object. I miss my Dad : Mon papa me manque |
